- Dulce de leche (milk candy for filling)

Step-by-Step Recipe


1. Mix flour and sugar in a large bowl.


2. Add butter and margarine, mixing until smooth.


3. Make a well in the center, and add eggs, mayonnaise, and baking powder.


4. Beat the mixture until the dough is soft and slightly sticky.


5. Place small pieces of dough in each mold of an oreshki shell mold.


6. Cook on a stovetop until golden brown, flipping the mold halfway through.


7. Once cooled, remove excess dough and fill each shell with dulce de leche.


8. Press two filled shells together to form a complete walnut shape.
